About Shamanic Healing -

Shamanism is an ancient system of beliefs and healing practices still widely used throughout the World today. There is a growing interest in Shamanism as a means to counteract the stresses of modern life in western cultures

Dr. Alberto Villoldo is an author, psychologist and medical anthropologist. After spending years as a professor at a University in the USA studying psychosomatic health, to further his understanding of the mind/body connection, he decided to study first-hand the ancient healing practices of the Laika. In Spring 2005 I embarked upon The Four Winds Society “Healing the Light Body School Graduate Programme” which I completed in November 2006. I continue to attend Four Winds master classes to add ongoing skills to my repertoire. I am also qualified to teach and transmit the Munay-Ki Rites.

I am able to offer various forms of individual Shamanic Healing - vision journeying, illuminations, soul retrieval, extractions, divination, as well as group work - journeying, fire ceremony, despachos or teaching how to perform or even teach the Munay-Ki Rites*.

Despachos are prayer bundles which can be used when one wants to create a particular outcome for individuals, groups or organisations. Despacho ceremonies are particularly beautiful and moving and so are perfect for weddings, naming ceremonies and funerals/celebrations of someone’s life.

There is a group fire ceremony performed every full moon in West Sussex (near Worthing). Anyone is welcome to attend - please contact me for details.

Regarding Shamanic work, I can see individuals at my home in Worthing, West Sussex, Carlevaux in Brittany or I can work over the phone. Ceremonies or Munay-Ki classes can be performed within a 50 mile radius of Worthing or Carlevaux.

* The ancient rites are both incredibly beautiful as well as powerful. Some of my Munay-Ki students have experienced profound changes in their lives as a result of being taught these rites. I run regular Munay-Ki training courses, please contact me for dates of forthcoming classes.
