About me
My studies of Sociology, Psychology, Comparative religion and The Arts led to an interest in the Healing Arts and Counselling. I then discovered that all of my beliefs and experience could be encompassed under one umbrella - Homoeopathy - and I commenced my 4 year training at the College of Homoeopathy, Regents Park, London in 1987, qualifying in June 1991. After completing the required experience and assessments, I was accepted onto the Register of the Society of Homoeopaths in November 1991. During the course of my journey into healing I studied and dipped my toes into the complex world of therapies and healing related subjects. I was a Probationary Healer with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NFSH). I also trained as a Past Life Healer with the Past Life Healing Association in London...unfortunately I was unable to complete my cases-studies as a result of my brother becoming terminally ill. In 1991 I founded Littlehampton Natural Health Centre, a large multidisciplinary practice, which I co-managed with a group of friends and therapists. This gave me a golden opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience as a "therapy junkie". Over the 10 years I spent at The Centre I had the opportunity to experience countless therapies, workshops and mini trainings - including Astrology, Feng Shui, Numerology, Tai Chi, Crystals, Colour Therapy - and the list goes on! In 2000 I trained to be an Accredited Journey Therapist with Brandon Bays herself, combining The Journey with Homoeopathy. During this time...my passion for France coupled with inheriting a little money, enabled Alan (my 2nd husband) and I to buy our first house in Brittany. After 5 years of hard work during our "holidays" on this project we have now completed the renovations and started our "pension plan" - house No.2. This major rebuild occupies much of our time, so we can currently be found there when we're not in the UK. In Spring 2005 I embarked upon The Four Winds Society “Healing the Light Body School Graduate Programme” which I completed in November 2006. I continue to attend Four Winds master classes to add ongoing skills to my repertoire. I look forward to being able to run retreats in Brittany in the near future...please contact me if you think this may be of interest, I can then keep you updated. |
